The Project
Our clients most important wish for their new kitchen was to increase their usable bench space. This came with some challenges due to the lay out of the kitchen space, needing to cover their existing tiled floor footprint and the fact their home is on a slab meaning we couldn’t relocate certain services.
The solution to improve the available bench space was to increase the island benchtop length using what was already a very small walkway to the window end of the existing island and finishing the opposite end with a waterfall end. We couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome of the new kitchen. Most importantly we’ve created the extra bench space they needed but also made better use of the available space including some off bench appliance storage helping to de-clutter their new kitchen.
The joinery all finished in Polytec Moss Grey with Touch Handles ‘Vesio’ Brushed Nickel handles and Caesarstone Icon Symphony Grey benchtops installed by the amazing team at Melbourne Marble & Granite. Featuring built in pull out twin bins, Blum Merivobox Inner Drawers for the above mentioned appliance storage and feature LED strip lighting all our clients needs to do is find the their dream stools to complement their new kitchen.
