Kitchen & Laundry Renovation Glen Iris

The Brief

Working with the team at Trademark Renovations, this Glen Iris project called for a kitchen and laundry renovation that prioritised clean lines, smart use of space, and a cohesive modern aesthetic throughout. With a full suite of new Bosch appliances to integrate and a compact laundry footprint to work within, the brief was as much about considered design as it was about maximising every centimetre available.

The Design

The kitchen sets a confident, contemporary tone from the outset. Dulux Terrace White satin polyurethane cabinetry provides a refined, seamless finish, while Stone Ambassador Zenith Whisper White benchtops add a soft, luminous quality to the space. Polytec Tasmanian Oak Woodmatt floating shelves introduce a warm natural contrast — grounding the palette and preventing the all-white scheme from feeling clinical.

Integration was central to the design. A fully integrated fridge and dishwasher maintain the kitchen's clean, uninterrupted lines, while a Hafele Le-Mans II corner unit, Euro Cargo ST45 pull-out twin bin with inner drawer above, and Hafele Loox 5 LED strip lighting under the overhead cabinets ensure the space is as functional as it is beautiful. The appliance specification is equally considered: a Bosch oven, compact combination oven, induction cooktop, and integrated rangehood work seamlessly together, finished with a Buildmat Lincoln 825 sink and Phoenix Tapware Deja pull-out mixer — details that reward closer inspection.

The European laundry is compact but punches well above its size. Polytec Polar White Matt doors keep the space bright and fresh, while the Polytec Tasmanian Oak Woodmatt benchtop — the same timber used for the kitchen shelving — creates a quiet but deliberate material connection between the two rooms. A Buildmat Evelyn 380 trough with Mira pull-out mixer handles the practical demands of the space, and Stefano Orlati Brushed Nickel handles add a finishing touch that ties neatly back to the broader material palette.
