Kitchen Renovation Project

Sometimes it’s more than just the kitchen installed and this was the case for our Belgrave Heights kitchen renovation.  Our clients had some additional renovation works completed as part of the kitchen renovation including the stunning new cathedral ceilings and skylights seen below.  Being a little limited in space and needing to cater for a family of 5 we needed to fit a full size pantry & fridge into the design along with plenty of preparation and seating space for the family and entertaining.  To make the most of the available space the pantry has 4 x Blum inner drawers to the bottom section and we’ve added a Kessebohmer No. 15 pull out to the right of the oven for ease of access to oils and spices while cooking and the Le-Mans II to the left of the oven to access the otherwise unusable corner.

Having so much natural light from the skylights we were able to introduce a darker element to the kitchen being the Formica Blum Moon joinery below the Stone Ambassador White Burst benchtops with a waterfall end while keeping the tall and overhead cabinets in a lighter Polytec Classic White with feature Polytec Tasmanian Oak feature floating shelves which we’ve kept shallow to finish behind the existing window.  With the feature black appliances being used we’ve tied the joinery handles in using the Titus Tekform Stefano Orlati Matt Black handles while the overhead cabinets have been left handle free for a clean minimalist look.
