The Project
Having completed a laundry renovation for our clients in 2022 it was always the plan to come back to design and install some custom joinery for their hallway space and are delighted with the outcome of the project. Designed to be some general storage for the home, kids toys and bags it was decided to make a space to sit down and change your shoes which I feel takes this space from being a long bank of tall white doors.
Also, by adding some feature panels to the end and back of the recess it adds another element and texture to the space, all helped by the beautiful raked ceiling. My only concern now would be the absolutely beautiful piece of timber sourced by our client and not wanting anyone to actually sit on it.
