The Project

One of my favourite things is getting to work with clients again on multiple renovations and this was the case for our Walk In Robe renovation in Vermont.  Having the privilege of doing a kitchen renovation with our clients in 2013 they reached out when it was time to renovate their Walk In Robe.  Having lived with their old robes for many years it was time not just for a fresh look but to make the most out of the large space they had that had never been utilized.  This included adding drawer storage, general shelving, long and short hanging and a better solution for shoes.  Unfortunately a majority of robes do have dead corners and to battle this we’ve installed a half depth cabinet side to the double hanging section that butts into the long hanging storage that runs through into the dead corner making access to this area so much easier.  Also by installing a shallow open shelf section to the build the shoes all have their own space.  I find by doing this it’s not about showcasing your shoes but takes away the mess of a stack of shoes typically found on the floor or double stacked in deep shelves.
