The Project

We’re so happy we had the opportunity to work with our lovely clients for their Warranwood Kitchen Renovation.  Having lived with their existing kitchen since building their home it was time not just for new appliances but to give their existing kitchen / dining space a new lease of life with brighter colours and functionality.

It’s renovations like this that we can’t really increase the storage space of the kitchen due to the room size and limitations so it’s all about making the most out of the available space that we do have and working with their existing double oven which they’d recently upgrades along with their other new appliances that had been purchased pre design meetings.

By re-locating their existing dishwasher to the left side of the sink means they can now open and unpack the dishwasher and store their crockery in the return bench drawers without double handling.  We then installed a #Hideaway Concelo pull out twin bin to the right of the sink meaning they can empty their dinner scraps into the bin before rinsing their dishes and putting them into the dishwasher as many of us do.  With this design option it did create 2 corners in the kitchen but this was resolved with a #Hafele / Kessebohmer Le-Mans II corner unit to the dishwasher corner and a rear facing push to open cabinet to the right.  Installed between the Le-Mans corner unit and wall oven + microwave tower is the #Hafele / Kessebohmer  Comfort II pull out unit for storage of their spices while cooking and under both runs of overhead cabinets we’ve installed #Hafele Loox 5 LED strip lighting which are all controlled by an in profile dimmable soft on/off switch and installed at the front edge of the cabinets for better functionality of the bench space below.

All finished off with #Polytec Createc New Ultra White Gloss doors, #Quantum Quartz Ash Grey benchtops, #Johnson Tiles Opal Light Grey Gloss Mosaic Tiles wall tiles with Misty Grey grout and their new floating floors the new kitchen is bright, open and most of all functional.
